ECIL, a professionally managed Electronics & IT Giant with several Firsts and Awards engaged inter-alia in Automation & Controls, Communications, IT including Computer Education, Special Products, Instrumentation etc., with major emphasis on Defence & Nuclear areas is looking for dynamic and result-oriented persons for the following Trainee posts for its Headquarters and Zonal Offices located across India:

STIPEND:
For Post No.1:
The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of ONE year on a stipend of Rs.15500/- p.m. On successful completion of the training, they will be appointed as Engineer (Contract) for 3 years in the Contract Grade of Rs.8600-8850-9100/- and on successful completion of Contract appointment, they will be absorbed as Technical Officer in the scale of pay of Rs.8600-250-14600/-. Further, on completion of ONE year as TO, they will be considered for promotion to the post of Sr. Technical Officer, in the scale of pay of Rs.10750-300-16750/-.
The selected candidate are required to execute a Service Bond for a period of 4 years (1 year Trainee + 3 years Contract) for Rs.1,00,000/-.
For Post No.2:
The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of ONE year on stipend of Rs.8775/-p.m. On successful completion of the training, they will be absorbed as Scientific Assistant ’A’ in the scale of pay of Rs.4870-155-6420-160-8980/-.
The selected candidate are required to execute a Service Bond for 4 years (including training period) for Rs.50,000/-.
Note: In addition to the stipend indicated above, the other benefits admissible are Medical, Conveyance Reimbursement/Subsidised Transport, Subsidised Canteen, PF, Gratuity etc., as per the rules of the Corporation.
Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.
Method of Selections:
Selections will be through Written Test and Interview of short-listed candidates based on performance in the Written Test.
Relaxations:
Qualifications:
First Class in Engg. Degree/Diploma in Engg./B.Sc.-Computer Science is relaxed to Second Class with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.
Age :
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates. In respect of PH candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the age relaxation will be over and above the normal relaxation (Example: for SC/ST: 15 years and for OBC 13 years).
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Candidates applying for the above posts are required to forward a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted) in favor of “ECIL” payable at Hyderabad”.
2. In order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Written Test/Interview, if so required, the Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility standards/criteria. Discipline-wise standards may vary as per availability of candidates.
3. Applications, which are incomplete, without documentary proof and received after due date are liable for rejection.
4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
5. The Written Test Question paper would normally be answered in English only. However, option may be given to the candidates, who wish to answer the same in HINDI. Such candidates shall specifically indicate the same at top of the Application Form invariably.
ECIL will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit in submission of application/document within specified time.
